SNAP · NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2026

SNAP Payment Dates by State

There is no single national SNAP payment day. Each state spreads deposits across the month, and your day stays the same every month. In North Carolina it is the 3rd to the 21st, set by the last digit of your Social Security number. In Texas and Florida it is the 1st to the 28th, set by your case number. In Arizona it is set by the last name of the head of household. The same schedule applies in November and December 2026. We add states as we confirm them on the agency’s own page.

ArizonaStaggered across the month (DES policy manual FAA5.J.05)Last name of the head of household (the “Primary Informant”). DES does not publish the letter-by-day table in that manual; check MyFamilyBenefits.

Your first month can be different. In Texas, a first, pro-rated amount and the next month’s benefits may come as one deposit (B-251). In Florida, new and expedited approvals are paid outside the schedule in their first month, and people who applied after the 15th may get two months at once (3210.0202 and 3210.0204). After that, benefits arrive on your regular day.

HHSC says households certified before May 1, 2023 keep the schedule they already had, unless benefits stopped for at least six months and they reapplied after that date. Your EDG number is on your HHSC notices. Source: Texas Works Handbook B-251, Monthly Benefit Issuance Schedule.

Your state is not listed?

We list a state only after reading its schedule on the agency’s own page. Until then, your approval notice and your EBT card’s balance app or phone line show your deposit date. To see whether your household may qualify and roughly how much SNAP pays, read our SNAP eligibility guide.

What we could not verify

  • Georgia: the only schedule we found on DFCS’s site is a 2019 press release, so we do not repeat it as current.
  • Florida and Arizona day tables: the agencies publish the rule (which digits or which name) but not the day for each value on the pages we read.
  • Texas weekends: the handbook gives the day of the month but does not say what happens when it falls on a weekend.
